The FU 900 is a ventilation and NBC-collective filtration system intended for the protection of up to 150 persons in airtight spaces and compartments. The system provides 2400 m³/h (1420 cfm) fresh air in the case of conventional warfare, or 900 m³/h (533 cfm) filtered air in the case of NBC (Nuclear/Biological/Chemical) warfare.
By creating overpressure inside the protected area, the FU900 provides a safe and comfortable environment without the need for gas masks or protective clothing. The system is operated by normal electric power and does not have a manual operation option. Backup of emergency power generator required.
